Aquarium plant from tissue culture in closed cup.
Staurogyne repens is a fresh green, compact and hardy plant for the foreground of the aquarium and it was found in River Rio Cristalino in the southern Amazonas. Its nearest relative in the aquaristic is Hygrophila but Staurogyne is different with its marked compact, low and bushy stature (5-10 cm) and small green leaves (each stem is 3.4 cm wide).
When planting in the aquarium, the longest upright shoots should be cut off and new, horizontally creeping shoots will soon form from the plant basis and gradually colonize the gravel.
At low light, the growth will be more upright and much less side shoots will be formed.
Max Height: 3-10+ cm

1-2-Grow! Plants are cultivated in a sealed cup, with a liquid growing media in a protected laboratory environment.
This procedure ensures 100% clean and fresh plants and the best growing conditions, allowing us to introduce new, exciting species to the hobby. Moreover, they are already adapted to the underwater life in a tank.
The 1-2-Grow! Cup contains numerous little plants which you can split into portions and distribute over a large area. The plants are compact, and you will soon experience a dense and lush growth if you supply the right fertiliser and CO2 from the start. They may seem small, but they are great value for money.
These tiny little plants need a supply of liquid nutrition (Premium & Specialised) as well as CO2 addition right from the start to get the best results. Unlike potted plants, 1-2-Grow! Plants don’t carry any nutrients from the nursery.
