The Candy Cane Hogfish (Bodianus sepiacaudus) is a vibrant marine species adored for its striking appearance and lively personality. Sporting a gradient of pink, orange, and yellow hues, its body is adorned with vertical candy cane-like stripes, hence the name. These fish are native to the Indo-Pacific region, typically found in coral reefs at depths ranging from 15 to 50 meters. In aquariums, they thrive in spacious tanks with ample hiding spots and a varied diet consisting of meaty foods like brine shrimp, Mysis shrimp, and chopped seafood.
