With a maximum length of 12 centimetres, this species prefers a sandy substrate in aquariums with ample hiding places like rocks or coral rubble. Maintaining a stable temperature between 24-28°C, pH of 8.1-8.4, and a specific gravity of 1.020-1.025 is crucial. Provide a well-lit environment mimicking its natural habitat.
