Description
The Juvenile Dragon Wrasse (Novaculichthys taeniourus) is a striking saltwater fish known for its vibrant colours and distinct appearance. Initially displaying a mix of green, orange, and white hues, it matures into a solid green colour with black markings as it ages. This species is active and requires a spacious aquarium with ample swimming space. Provide a sandy substrate and plenty of live rock for shelter and grazing. Maintain water quality with a temperature of 24-28°C, pH of 8.1-8.4, and specific gravity of 1.020-1.025. Offer a varied diet of meaty foods like small crustaceans, frozen shrimp, and quality marine flakes.
