This species, native to the Indo-Pacific region, thrives in reef environments with ample hiding spots and moderate to high water flow. Maintaining stable water parameters is crucial, with temperatures ideally ranging between 22-28°C, pH levels of 8.1-8.4, and a specific gravity of 1.020-1.025. A minimum tank size of 75 litres is recommended to provide ample swimming space and territory.
