Description
The Powder Blue Tang, scientifically known as Acanthurus leucosternon, is a stunning marine fish renowned for its vibrant powder blue coloration and distinctive yellow dorsal fin. With an elongated oval body and a pointed snout, this species can grow up to 25 centimetres (10 inches) in length. Originating from the Indo-Pacific region, they thrive in reef environments with ample swimming space and hiding spots. Maintain water temperatures between 24-27°C (75-80°F) and a pH level of 8.1-8.4. Provide a balanced diet consisting of algae, marine greens, and occasional meaty treats. Regular water changes and adequate filtration are crucial for their well-being.
